The problem
What it does
- Describe a tool in plain words and Oriwa builds it.
- Your apps and data live in a folder you choose, on your own device.

Decisions
- Local first. Each app is a folder in a vault you pick, so your data stays yours.
- Sync built on CRDTs (Automerge), so devices can edit offline and merge cleanly later.
- One codebase for desktop and mobile (Tauri 2), plus a browser version for synced accounts.
- Apps declare their data schema, with migrations and snapshots, so an app can change without breaking your data.
- The assistant can read across apps but can't change anything yet.
